The libuuid library generates and parses 128-bit universally unique
id's (UUID's). A UUID is an identifier that is unique across both
space and time, with respect to the space of all UUIDs. A UUID can
be used for multiple purposes, from tagging objects with an extremely
short lifetime, to reliably identifying very persistent objects
across a network.

See also the "uuid" package, which is a separate implementation.d;x86-64-02.build.eng.rdu2.redhat.comdRed HatRed Hat, Inc.BSDRed Hat, Inc. <http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla>Development/Librarieshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Util-linuxlinuxi686$oAA큤d9d9d4d8d9YSYS706a0dbbf3097902d3cdcef7fddfe8fb1d42e6e92fb56c808f7465f69afad126f051c5b2e7ed25acac4b79d22b9e5df80447c16f9ec543d6ed21c213c576f6aa9b718a9460fed5952466421235bc79eb49d4e9eacc920d7a9dd6285ab8fd6c6d../../../../usr/lib/libuuid.so.1.3.0libuuid.so.1.3.0rootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootrootutil-linux-2.32.1-43.el8.src.rpmlibuuidlibuuid(x86-32)libuuid.so.1libuuid.so.1(UUIDD_PRIVATE)libuuid.so.1(UUID_1.0)libuuid.so.1(UUID_2.20)libuuid.so.1(UUID_2.31)@@@@@@@@@@@

- don't install chkdupexe- Update to new pam standard.
- BuildRoot.- added rootok and setproctitle patches
- updated pam config files for chfn and chsh- updated MCONFIG to automatically determine the architecture
- added glibc header hacks to fdisk code
- rdev is only available on the intel- update to util-linux 2.7, fixed login problems- Merged Red Hat changes into main util-linux source, updated package to
development util-linux (nearly 2.7).- LOG_AUTH --> LOG_AUTHPRIV in login and shutdown- Moved to new pam and from pam.conf to pam.d- pam.patch differentiated between different kinds of bad logins.
In particular, "user does not exist" and "bad password" were treated
  differently. This was a minor security hole./sbin/ldconfig/sbin/ldconfig2.32.1-43.el82.32.1-43.el8.build-idbecdbe28dacec07476e54b86acbe2211f59295libuuid.so.1libuuid.so.1.3.0libuuidCOPYINGCOPYING.BSD-3/usr/lib//usr/lib/.build-id/91//usr/share/licenses//usr/share/licenses/libuuid/-O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Werror=format-security -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -Wp,-D_GLIBCXX_ASSERTIONS -fexceptions -fstack-protector-strong -grecord-gcc-switches -specs=/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/redhat-hardened-cc1 -specs=/usr/lib/rpm/redhat/redhat-annobin-cc1 -m32 -march=x86-64 -mtune=generic -mfpmath=sse -mstackrealign -fasynchronous-unwind-tables -fstack-clash-protection -fcf-protectioncpioxz2i686-redhat-linux-gnudirectoryELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, BuildID[sha1]=91becdbe28dacec07476e54b86acbe2211f59295, strippedASCII textPPPPPPPRR
